Accommodation

The cattery is accredited by the Feline Advistory Bureau, which award is the highest in the Feline world. Accreditation is given not only on the standard of accommodation, but the management and care of the cats in our charge. We are also highly recommended by Cumbrian vets.

Each room is large enough to accommodate two cats, with thermostatically controlled room heaters and thermostatically controlled heated beds; there is an outside run over-looking the garden, with 5ft high activity centres and scratch poles. There are also family units for 4+ cats.

Fussing

My priority is your cat's welfare and throughout the boarding period I will act as it's 'temporary Foster Parent' which means that your cat will be loved as much as my own 4 cats. Thus individual attention is assured, including regular strokes and cuddles, spending time sitting and talking; also grooming every other day, if the cat allows.

Bedding

Bedding is supplied but you may wish to bring your own pet's bedding to make the cat feel at home.

Food

All cats are fed according to their needs. We feed whatever you cat normally has at home, including fresh food. However, Veterinary prescription diets have to be provided by the owners.

All cats are fed twice per day, plus additional intermediate tit-bits fi their diet allows.

Vaccinations

An up-to-date inoculation certificate must be supplied, upon arrival, for Feline Enteritis and Cat 'Flu'. Your cat cannot be admitted without inoculation.

Insurance

Your cat will be covered by the general conditions of Pet Plan insurance - at no extra charge.

Cat Grooming

Washing, dematting by clippers or by hand grooming, clay clipping, ear cleaning, eye cleaning, general brush and other grooming services are available at extra charge.
